How to Proceed with Admissions?

If you're considering our care services for your family member, you might be wondering about the next steps for admission. Here's how to proceed:

Start by consulting with your family member's primary care physician. They will assess and document the specific care requirements of your family member, as a doctor's written care order is a prerequisite for admission to any nursing home in North Carolina.

Next, get in touch with our Admissions Director, either by phone or email, to schedule a meeting and a tour of our premises. Our Admissions Director will answer any queries you might have regarding Long Term Care and the range of services we offer. We would be delighted to guide you around our facility and introduce you to some of the key personnel involved in resident care.

Financing the Care

A common concern for both patients and providers managing healthcare costs. Many families, when contemplating any form of healthcare, first question whether they can afford the related costs.

For several of our residents, the bulk of the expenses are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance, with the family contributing a co-payment. Others might cover the costs entirely out-of-pocket. Typically, we observe a mix, with a substantial portion of the expense paid by a third-party insurer and a co-payment made by the family.

As a comprehensive healthcare provider, we consider resident advocacy a key responsibility. We are dedicated to ensuring that you avail all of your eligible healthcare benefits. To make this possible, we collaborate closely with families to explore all potential reimbursement avenues, and accept payments from multiple sources, including:
Medicare:

  • Medicare
  • Medicare Replacement
  • Medicaid
  • Private Insurance
  • Private Payments
